I've really started to dislike

Fate and destiny,

They take my feelings soaring

They drop to agony.

Life's little games are painful

Playing with my heart,

Piercing feelings run through me

Stabbing like a dart.

Love hurts, there is no question

It just isn't fair,

One minute we can be so happy

The next you are in despair.

Whisked away by your real life

I have lost control,

Left behind thinking what we had

The few moments that we stole.

The tears well up and flood my eyes

Rolling down my cheeks,

I see your face before me, love

As I think of all these weeks.

I love you so unconditionally

This pain I willingly bare,

I know the time will come some day

I'll turn and you will be right there.
